They are usually coupled with the production of our hosts immediate communication needs. This basic package consists of an image bank, posters, brochures, and publishing templates supporting your strategy. It is produced in about two weeks and is available with or without a capacity building element.

This program consists of a strong capacity building element, expanded image bank, posters, brochures, and publishing templates to support a program for about two years. The capacity building element insures in house ability to use the image bank properly and modify posters and publishing templates as needed.  The minimum time frame is between 3 and 4 weeks.

Images are important to any communication program. They form the basis for posters and published materials. These image banks are designed around the particular needs of each program. They range from 125 – 350 custom produced images in high-resolution 300 Dpi TIFF format. Delivered on CD’s in custom filing boxes. The time frame is between 2 and 7 weeks depending on subject matter and local travel involved.

 

These training elements and workshops are custom tailored to the demands of each program.  They range in duration from 5 days to two weeks. They are best combined with the production of print materials or image banks. Some of the areas covered are strategy development, production and publishing of materials, distribution strategies, advertising photography, and desktop publishing.

 

This 18-month to 2-year full time program equips and trains a team of 3-4 local artists in the skills needed to provide all print and multi media needs for a program, Ministry, or small government.  These units are extremely economical to start up and maintain. Once established they are usually self financing. The savings realized by not out sourcing materials and the flexibility an in house design team allow render these programs highly efficient.

 

Workshops and seminars of various durations are custom tailored for each program.  These workshops are frequently coupled with short one-day seminars for local photographers and / or designers. Shorter courses within courses often form a part of the larger workshop but allow local photographers or designers to benefit also.

 

These sessions are custom tailored to the needs of the client.  They range from photography for social marketing communications to Computer graphic design and strategy building. Clients spend half of each day learning while the other half is dedicated to life aboard a 100-year-old sailing vessel.  Mental work is balanced with physical effort.  These are excellent incentive / capacity building programs.

Vega is an ideal platform for public health education teams, immunization programs, pilot programs, assessments, or implementing programs for island nations with many isolated population centers each with its own special demands.
